WELCOME
Welcome to the November edition of Achievers Monthly.
Each edition will list most importantly, the names of our achievers,
also, upcoming events, specific information regarding your State Swim
Swimming School, articles and photos of our swimmers.
Let your child search for his or her name, it helps with word recognition
and gives them a sense of achievment when they see it there on the screen!
Only 6 weeks until Christmas, not that you needed reminding of that!
With most people stepping up their social events during the 'Festive Season'
please remember to advise your swimming school if you will not be attending
a lesson and collect a Lesson Make Up Card (if applicable) from reception
next time you are in.
Now that the weather is finally warming up you can get the kids out and about ,
to use their new swimming skills, I am sure they will be only too keen to
show them off to you.

HEALTH & SPORT NEWS
Well done to all the athletes who have approached thenew Team Silver
and Gold program and 90 minutes sessions enthusiastically. All the
coaches are very impressed with the dedication to improve. I do ask in
particular the Team Silver in future stay for the full 90 minute session you
each get great benefits with ultimately a quicker rise to Team Gold.
To all the new people especially from the Carine swim centre
welcome and emphasis our program is based entirely on
technique to improve speed.
Our next Super Swim is on Thursday 27th November 6-7pm.
TEAM SWIMMERS
Rebecca Chalupsky is one of our best young Team Gold swimmers.
Rebecca has a first-rate technique and her work rate is never questioned.

SWIMMER OF THE MONTH
The Swimmer of the Month is a combination
of September and October and the highest
team award we offer. This month two girls;
Gabby Sparta (pictured) and Ellie Spencer
where paraded and rewarded for consistent
improvement in work ethic and substantial
better times swam at Super Swim.
Well Done Gabby and Ellie, all the coaches have been very impressed with the way you approach training, your manners
and dedication to getting better. Recently Gabby was promoted to Team Silver.
Personal Best are regarded as the highest individual achievement;
they are timed and recorded at Super Swim each month.
The Super Swim on 29th October was a record for the number of PB’s
especially amongst the Team Bronze kids, great work!!!
PLEASE COLLECT YOUR CARDS FROM THE COUNTER.
The following athletes received special medals for receiving
10, 20 0r 30 Personal Bests; we love presentation these medals

Each coach has an area of speciality with Jason essentially in Bronze,
Courtney and Lauren in Silver and Jacque and Matt in Gold.
Amy, Cassie and Simon have a mixture of coaching responsibilities and days.
Coach Profile
Jason is a very dedicated and popular young coach.
He is quietly spoken but has a great passion to improve every
single person under his coaching banner. He is knowledgable,has a
happy personality and currently studies. Jason has been awarded
the coach of the quarter and receives an ice-cream of his choice.
Thank you to the parents, you can be guaranteed our coaches will take care of your children and make them better swimmers.

GIFT VOUCHERS
Do you have a friend or relative who doesn’t know what to get your child for
Christmas or Birthday, our Gift Vouchers could be just the thing! You choose
the amount and the recipient can choose the product or service available at
State Swim. For instance Gift Vouchers can be used for swimming lessons,
Lap Swimming Pass or Swim Shop items. They are also a great idea for
people living interstate. They can purchase them over the phone with credit
card and we can post it back to the address of their choice.
CHRISTMAS COLOURING IN COMPETITION
Get the kids to bring out their pencils, crayons and textas for our State Swim
Christmas colouring in competition. Pick up an entry form during December
from reception for your chance to win one of three State Swim ‘Swim Shop’
vouchers for each of the three age groups 0-4yrs, 5-8yrs and 9yrs +.
1st prize $100 voucher, 2nd $50 voucher, 3rd $25 voucher to be spent on any
of our great swimwear and other Swim Shop items. We will happily decorate
our reception area with the ‘works of art’ for all to see and enjoy. The winners
will be decided on Monday 22nd December.
