MEET THE MANAGERS
Hi, I'm Marissa, I am the Operations manager at State Swim Ellenbrook.Briefly I
will tell you about myself. I moved to Perth a year ago. Previously spending my life
in Brisbane. I have been working in the Aquatic Industry for the past 9 years. I hold
current qualifications from AUSTSWIM -General and Infant and Preschoolers,
Pool Lifeguard, Senior First Aid and CPR as well as holding a 'working with children'
check. I also have a Diploma of Recreation Fitness and a Bachelor of
Applied Science.Another passion of mine is teaching people how to become
swimming instructors through the World Aquatic Swimming Instructor course,
run through State Swim Systems.
If you have any concerns or questions please feel free to approach me.

Hi my name is Cherie, I am the Assistant Operations Manager at Ellenbrook
Swimming School. I am a married mother of three. I have worked for State Swim
for 10 years. I previously worked at the Whitford City Swimming School
before moving to our great new facility here at Ellenbrook. I am a trained
instructor, supervisor and customer service officer. I also hold qualifications in
AUSTSWIM - General and Infant and Preschoolers, Senior First Aid and CPR,
Pool Plant Operations and Diploma in Child Care.
I look forward to introducing myself to you.

WINTER REWARDS
Our Winter Rewards program has been well received, not only by the winners
of the seven Wii Consoles but by lots of the parents too. We have received
positive feedback from many parents recognising a vast improvement in
their children's swimming ability. This is due largely due to the continuity
of swimming on a weekly basis and rewarding and encouraging
improvement regularly. We would like to thank the scores of happy
kids, who were rewarded with drinks, icecreams and goggles for their
continued effort over Winter and the parents who kept up the routine.
Well done. Goes to show that we need not hibernate over the cooler months,
just get in to it and we all know it is never cold at State Swim pools.
Our very happy Winter Rewards Wii winner is Leila Kundid, congratulations!
HEALTH & SPORT NEWS
The next Super Swim is on from 6-7pm on Thursday 25th September.
All Team Gold, Silver and Bronze members are encouraged to come
as well as 400 Gold.
