Busy Bunnies At Easter

As always Easter is a very busy time at both the Margaret River and Swan Valley factories with thousands of freshly-made Easter products currently being produced.

Both factories are open every day from 9am to 5pm throughout the Easter break with eggs, bilbies, rabbits and all sorts of Easter goodies available.

Brand New at Margaret River

The Margaret River Chocolate Company’s original factory in Margaret River has a stunning, brand new look following an extensive refurbishment and expansion.

The factory has doubled in size and now has a huge new showroom and tasting area, as well as a brand new chocolate cafe and a much larger production area.

Next time you visit Margaret River be sure to visit the brand new factory and enjoy some of the mouth-watering delights in the new cafe.

10th Birthday Celebrations

May 2009 marks the 10th birthday of The Margaret River Chocolate Company and a range of special events and give-aways are planned to celebrate the occasion.

The company has grown significantly since it opened its doors in May 1999, with its factories in Margaret River and the Swan Valley now playing host to more than 500,000 visitors each year.
While the product range has grown over that time, the company’s commitment to quality has remained the cornerstone of its success.

Awards Success Continues

Having dominated local chocolate shows for several years The Margaret River Chocolate Company recently entered its first national show with considerable success.

The company won two of three silver medals awarded in the Sydney Royal Cheese & Dairy Produce Show’s prestigious hand-made truffle category.

The competition attracted entries from boutique chocolate makers across the country and The Margaret River Chocolate Company’s hand-made ginger and cointreau truffles picked up two of only three medals in the category.

It was the first time the company ventured interstate due to the logistical problems of transportation, temperature and quality control.
