February 6, 2009 OSBORNE PARK - FEBRUARY 2009
WELCOME
By now many of you will be back in 'full swing' with the school routine and
outside school activites and hopefully enjoying a bit of 'me time', hopefully!
Recently we have received a high volume of phone calls which we are
handling to the best of our ability, promptly and efficiently. We do
however, acknowledge and apologise for some delays you may be
experiencing. To help address the situation we ask that if you are having
difficulty getting through by phone, that you try to call between 12 and 3pm,
between lesson times. You can also contact your swimming school via the
State Swim website www.stateswim.com.au
We have set up a message bank service that will advise the caller the
above details too, so that you are not left wondering if you have called the
right number. State Swim value your feedback, so please let us know
if we can improve your and your child's swimming experience, email us
on admin@stateswim.com.au
Thank You
UV WATER PURIFICATION
Did you know that at State Swim pools use the UV Water Purification system?
Ultra Violet light is similar to using the rays of the sun for water purification,
it's non chemical, presents no danger to use and is the most natural of
methods to help purify the water. A UV System will not eliminate the use of
chlorine totally, as under our health regulations we are still required to
maintain a certain level of chlorine at all times.
For you, our swimmers, this means:
- More gentle on babies' skin
- No more red eyes and/or skin irritations
- Better environment for asthmatics
- Water clarity is improved and is fresher and cleaner
- Reduced wear and tear on bathers
- Less use of chemicals means it's better for the environment
Until recently swimming pool operators have had little choice but to use
traditional chlorine disinfection systems. The UV water purification system
has proved that ultraviolet treatment with low levels of chlorine has major
benefits over any of these traditional methods.
Please see our website www.stateswim.com.au for the full article.
